The period between the two dates friday, 21st of may 2010 and sunday, 27th january 2013 includes 982 day(s).

After 982 days, we will take a break. That will be the first day not opening the café. Due to political reasons we maintained the low prices. We can no longer resist this pressure or respectively we try to preserve what´s really worth preserving. An artspace which operates at the borders of our class society and which integrates the invisibles. In these 982 days there were exhibitions, movies, discussions, demonstrations, lectures, performances, parties, Gastroguerilla actions, cooperations, concerts, migrant transgender wedding rituals, sceptical and provocative veterans meetings and positive minded veterans self-organisation. We tried to overcome our own social alienation, the differences and oppositions, the antagonistic poles to produce a common terrain. Since we are far from giving up, but want to modify ourselves, we have to shut down the Café BOEM*. We see the end as a new beginning. We want to argue, discuss, work, play and dance with you. Don´t be mad at us for closing your extended livingroom. We are sad, but we are asking you for staying in contact with us because we want to give you the opportunity to still spend time in the café. We want to provide a room where you can carry on bringing your food or whatever you want to use the space for. Just get in contact with us!

If you have ideas, suggestions or concrete projects, contact us, talk to us. Now you still have the opportunity to visit the Café BOEM* in it´s original form. After the 27th of january it´s too late. On the 1st of february our re-organisation begins – and you can be a part of it!

We have Free WiFi for our guests as well as Coffee To Go for everybody in a rush and if that wouldn’t be enough we serve free Tapas / Meze / Snacks every Friday and Saturday Night starting at 7pm while stocks last.

• Friday from 6am till 2am
• Saturday from 9am till 2am
• Sunday & Public Holidays from 9am till 12pm
